ALINA SCHWARCZ
Alina Schwarcz was born in Buenos Aires in 1979. She studied Sound and Image Design at the University of Buenos Aires. She studied photography at UBA and with Guillermo Ueno. Her first solo exhibition was in the Torre Monumental in 2004. She has participated in collective exhibitions in Buenos Aires' Goethe Institute, Sonoridad Amarilla, Natural Science Museum, Belleza y Felicidad, Boquitas Pintadas, Milión, Casa Brandon and Galería Elsi del Rio plus Galería Motp in Mar del Plata and Planeta X in Rosario, amongst others. She was selected for the first Curriculúm cero open for Ruth Benzacar gallery and for the Argentine National Salon of Visual Arts 2004. In November 2006 she was awarded a grant by the Buenos Aires Cultural Fund and realized the solo exhibition Tigre en Recoleta Cultural Centre. She works in cinema and publicity.
