Andrea Nacach
(Buenos Aires, 1975) studied Graphic Design at Universidad de
Buenos Aires and Photography at Escuela Nacional de Fotografía
(ENFO). She has received scholarships from Fundación
Antorchas, Fundación Rockefeller, Centro Nacional de
las Artes in México and Fondo Nacional de las Artes in
Buenos Aires. In 2005-06 she published the book/ photographic
object entitled “Familia”, which was presented at
the Centro Cultural Español in Buenos Aires and Space
Other Gallery in Boston and is also included in permanent collections
such as New York Public Library, Artium Museo Vasco de Arte
Contemporáneo (Spain) and MALBA, Museo de arte Latinoamericano
de Buenos Aires (Argentina). Her work has been exhibited in
Buenos Aires in the Fotogalería del Teatro General San
Martín and Alianza Francesa, amongst others, and in several
spaces in France, Spain, Puerto Rico and the United States.
In 2007 she participated in (S) Files 007, the biennale of New
York’s Museo del Barrio. She has lived in Barcelona since
2002.
