| DIEGO LEVY |
Diego Levy
was born in Buenos Aires in 1973 and has worked professionally
in photography since 1991. Between 1996 and 2000 he was part
of the photography staff of the newspaper Clarín. In
2001 he was awarded the first Nuevo Periodismo award by the
Fundación Nuevo Periodismo Iberoamericano. During 2003
and 2004 he was photography editor of the magazine TXT. In 2005
and 2007 he received grants from the Buenos Aires Cultural Funds.
He is author of the book Sangre/Blood published in 2006. His
photographs have been exhibited in numerous solo exhibitions
in Argentina and abroad, including: Festival Punto aparte, Murcia,
Spain (2007), Festival VISA Pour L’image, Perpignan, France
(2006), San Martín Theatre Photography Gallery, Buenos
Aires (2005), Contemporánea, Vida Real, MALBA: Buenos
Aires Museum of Latin American Art (2005), 4th Biennale of Contemporary
Art from Mercosur, Porto Alegre, Brazil (2003), PROA Foundation,
Buenos Aires (2002). Diego Levy lives and works in Buenos Aires.
