Federico
Merea: “I was born in Buenos Aires in 1973. After
a time spent in Arts and Media Studies courses, I left to study
film, video and photography, in which I continue to the present.
I work in various areas of audiovisuals and occasionally as
a photographer. At present I am a documentary cameraman.
At times on the margins, at times with absolute dedication,
I write and take photos. I have participated in various group
exhibitions, the last of which was in the Recoleta Cultural
Centre during the Festival of Light 2006. Not long ago, I discovered
that photography is – for me – an essential means
of relating to life and will always remain so.”
