VVVgallery is dedicated exclusively to contemporary photography and lens-based art. The gallery aims to create a space for the dissemination of photography and video that serves as a platform to stimulate public interest in, knowledge of and appreciation for photographic and other lens-based artworks and to promote international dialogue, creating opportunities for exchange between Argentine and international artists.

VVVgallery forms part of the consortium of artists, gallery owners and cultural managers that transformed an abandoned factory in Aguirre street into a centre for arts exhibition, artists’ studios and residencies nicknamed, in reference to the Werner Herzog movie, The Wrath of God.

VVVgallery opened in Buenos Aires in May 2007. The gallery is directed by Cecilia Remiro Valcárcel and Linda Neilson with the assistance of Carolina Podestá.
